ЗАЯВЛЕНИЕ О НАМЕРЕНИИ

Я, Шумилкин Александр Сергеевич руководитель Архитектурного бюро ООО «АСГАРД», доцент кафедры Истории архитектуры и основ архитектурного проектирования ФГБОУ ВО «ННГАСУ», доктор архитектуры, архитектор-реставратор Высшей категории всю свою осознанную жизнь тружусь в секторе сохранения культуру нашей страны, нашего «генетического кода», нашей
наследия.

Причины подача заявления в Национальный Совет ИКОМОС Россия соответствует моим ценностям жизни:

научная работа в секторе сохранения объектов культурного наследия с момента завершения образования в ФГБОУ ВО «ННГАСУ». В 2010 году защитил кандидатскую диссертацию по специальности 05.23.20 «Теория и история архитектуры, реставрация и реконструкция историко-архитектурного наследия», в 2025 г. защитил докторскую диссертацию по той же специальности на тему «История реставрации в архитектуре России конца ХХ – начала ХХI
веков»;
практическая работы в сегменте реставрации и сохранения объектов культурного наследия в качестве архитектора-реставратора Высшей категории и руководителя бюро ООО «АСГАРД» с 2014 года и по настоящее время. Выполнены проекты реставрации более 150 объектов в 15 субъектах России;
личная потребность в развитии родной нижегородской и российской реставрационных школ. Работа состоит в объединении научно-теоретических и практических наработок. Представляет собой существенный научный вклад в разработку проблематики отечественной теории архитектурной реставрации и сохранения культурного наследия. В связи с процессами инверсии парадигмы сохранения наследия на рубеже ХХ – ХХI вв., вызванных кардинальными изменениями государственной системы и переходом к новой экономической политике, круг актуальных задач диссертационного исследования определяется необходимостью анализа базовых теоретических основ реставрационной науки, обобщения современного практического опыта и формирования приоритетных направлений дальнейшего развития этой сферы с позиций сохранения национальной культуры в единстве «ресурсов, законов, кадров и культурного потенциала».

STATEMENT OF INTENT

I, Alexander Sergeyevich Shumilkin, Head of the Architectural Bureau ASGARD LLC, Associate Professor at the Department of Architectural History and Fundamentals of Architectural Design, Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Doctor of Architecture, and Architect-Restorer (Highest Category), have dedicated my entire conscious life to working in the sector of cultural heritage preservation within our country – safeguarding our ‘genetic code,’ our legacy.

The reasons for submitting this application to the National Council of ICOMOS Russia align with my core values:

academic research in the field of preservation of cultural heritage sites undertaken subsequent to the completion of my education at Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. In 2010, I defended my Candidate of Architecture dissertation in specialty code 05.23.20, Theory and History of Architecture, Restoration and Reconstruction of Historical and Architectural Heritage. In 2025, I defended my Doctoral of Architecture dissertation in the same specialty, focusing on the topic, “History of Restoration in Russian Architecture of the Late 20th – Early 21st Centuries.”
practical involvement in the restoration and preservation of cultural heritage sites as a Highest Category Architect-Restorer and the head of the ASGARD LLC Bureau from 2014 to the present. I have overseen the completion of restoration projects on over 150 sites across 15 regions of Russia.
a personal commitment to the development of both the regional Nizhny Novgorod and other Russian schools of restoration. The nature of my work entails the integration of theoretical research with practical application, thereby signifying a substantial academic contribution to the field of domestic architectural restoration theory and cultural heritage preservation. In light of the paradigm shift in heritage preservation at the turn of the 21st century – owing to radical changes in governmental structure and the transition to a new economic policy – the current research agenda requires an analysis of the fundamental theoretical foundations of restoration science, a synthesis of contemporary practical experience, and the development of priority areas in this field. This is to be achieved from the viewpoint of preserving national culture through the integrated management of ‘resources, legislation, personnel, and cultural potential.’
